I am in the process of setting up my new ebay store and I hear that the best way to get traffic to your store is to cross promote your items by using regular fixed price auctions and regular auctions as well.. This is great but to add 50 items under these conditions it is going to cost about $75.00 a month. Plus the store fee which is $49.95/month. Plus inventory listings which comes out to be about $30.00. So I am looking to spend about $160 a month on my ebay store. Now this is no problem if I get traffic but my question is, how much traffic can I really get with only listing about 50 items on a regular auction. Keep in mind I will have about 1000 items in my ebay store but these wont really show up in regular ebay searches? Will I get traffic listing about 50 items a month? Thanks in advance.

The other option is to create your own site, try to get listed in google in one or two years and go from there. Ebay gives you instant exposure without having a website. That has got to be worth something.
