Yahoo Merchants Help Please

Please respond in elementary language. I am apparently an idiot.

Just moved over to the Yahoo Merchant Solutions, and am building my site. Have figured it out mostly, but can not find a way to add an option when purchasing that allows the customer to type in "personalization" information.

Say you are buying a personalized shirt.
Option: size
Option: color
Option: Personalization ____________

I need the blank space for them to type their name (or whatever) in, and have it show up during the order process and in the order notification. Paypal is my only merchant account.

Oh - and forgot to add.

I'm pretty frustrated with the support/customer service from them. If I'm missing something that you folks know about, please clue me in. There is no forum for help. I received an email when I upgraded stating that I would soon receive a second email with further information, etc. but meanwhile, I have "• 24-hour toll-free phone support". Ummm .... I have search high and low - and this 24 hour toll free number is a pretty well kept secret. Never got that second email either.
Is Yahoo a mistake? Should I look for something else?
I built my own site and have been using only Paypal as a cart for the past couple of years. It has done fine for me, but I really need to be able to add more options than Paypal allows when adding products to the cart. That's the primary reason for the upgrade.

To add options, in the options field for that item enter:

Size Small Medium Large "Extra Large"

Color Red Blue "Light Green" Yellow

Seperate each option with a space. If the option is multiple words, wrap the whole thing with quotes. Seperate each option with a linebreak.

yea, I got that part.

I have all options added, just as per the directions. Unfortunately, there are NO instructions for adding a blank text box for the customer to indicate personalization text.

Name Inscription 30

Inscription is the key with the number following indicating how characters are allowed for the inscription.
