Considering adding eShop to Directory website

I run a directory website that targets the B2B engineering industry.

We've been debating for ages whether we should add an eShop functionality for customers, where companies can sell their products through our eShop.

Does anyone have experience in doing this, we can charge an additional subscription for companies to setup a store with us, or we can take a percentage of the transaction.

Handling payment is my main concern, is their a payment system which would allow our customer to receive credit card payments with their own merchant ID.

Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.

Such a payment system can get very complicated.

Our standard "provider" agreement states that we will receive the payments and pay the provider in 30 days (to account for returns).
