Processing CC Transactions

Multiple Merchant Accounts without multiple fees.

Hi, I've read through a lot of the posts here concerning my question, but still would like to ask.

We develop web sites for clients that we host and we are adding credit card payment functionality.

Each client has their own Internet Merchant account.

We are currently using VeriSign and PayFlow Pro to do the transactions.

The problem is that for each new client we sign up, we have to pay VeriSign the $249 set up
and the $59 per month.

We don't mind paying $249 set up and $59 per month once, but we don't want to do it for each
new client we develop a site for.

We do not want to do anything where we send client to other site to do transaction, as in ClickBank,
PayPal or whatever. We want it all to happen on our site.

I can program in several languages, don't have a problem with API's, sockets, XML or whatever, so
we don't need an "easy" solution.

Currently we are builing on ASP.NET platform on a hosted server, but we can do whatever as far as
platform, language, etc.

So what we really want is the ability to have one set monthly fee or per transaction fee, that
we can use with multiple merchant accounts. Technical difficulty (within reason) is not a problem.

Can anyone reccommend some alternatives to VeriSign PayFlow Pro that I could look at? Or is this pretty much the "cost of doing business"?

Thanks.

Hello jocko,
The issue is that anytime you need to use a CC Gateway for a different account (website), you'll need to pay for the setup and maint. on that account.

You can use 2checkout.com. They have a $49 one time setup fee but then no monthly fees except for theeee perecentage they take and chargebacks. You can setit up so they don't leave your site.
