Sales plummeted today!

Any one else's sales drastically dropped since yesterday through today? Thanks for the feedback - I'm freaking out over here.

Mine haven't been great, but it's the weekend and finally we're seeing some good weather (in the UK), so people are probably out in the garden or at the beach or something.

Should pick up again tomorrow when everyone's back in the office.

Same here...sales way down as of yesterday due to big drop in traffic across all sources. I made a special trip to this board to see if I was the only one. I'm in the US. Could it just be Mother's Day weekend? Doesn't seem like enough of an event to slow traffic.

I had a very bad weekend as well. It hasn't been great since mid April. It improved quite a bit in the begining of May, but since this weekend, it took a nose dive again.

Saw a slight dip on Saturday but nothing particularly unusual. Been fairly consistent otherwise.

Is your overall traffic down or just sales? Are you suddenly generating a large number of error pages? What, if anything, have you (or your staff) touched on the site in the last few days?

Sales 100% back today. Phew. Guess it was just one of those strange unexplained 'blips' in traffic.

Traffic yesterday was about 60% what it normally is on a Sunday. Strange.

Also a big dip.

Coincided with the roll-out of a new hush-hush technology, which we almost reversed out as a result.

But now sales are back to normal...

yes traffic stayed normal - very weird how Saturday sales were horrible then starting Sunday it came back about half way to normal and Monday was about 80% of normal sales.
