rewards program

anyone working with an existing one?

We are exploring the idea of offering rewards when people buy from us online. Similar idea: when you stay at Example Hotel, you earn 5,000 frequent flyer miles for your favorite airline's program.

I've heard there are several companies that you can buy miles/points from for the various loyalty programs. Has anyone done this? Problems/concerns/complaints?

A business partner of mine uses Asia Miles. They are a pain in the rear to deal with (brand this .. brand that .. type of nonsense) but he belives it helps him.

If it matters, he's in the relocation industry in Asia.
