Hi, I am building a store for a company which sells satellite telephones. There are basically just a small number of products, but we basically want to sell "bundles", ie something like click to buy the "portable unit", then the next screen uses lots of really detailed options to talk you through whether you want to also get an extra antenna, or a PC connector kit, etc.

So something like "options" on a normal shopping cart, but with the ability to have a lot of detail (and even some pictures) for each option.

Being able to use nice large pictures for the category items would be useful as well. Basically something like the Dell website is what I am after

Any suggestions on some software which would work and is easy to customise? Coding is not an issue, and I am tempted to make a mostly static site to work this. Something that we can get the basic framework up and running quickly is preferred

Any suggestions?

You might be better of taking an existing package and modifying it.

Do your options have rules (i.e. option 2 if selected would involve incompatibility with option 4 and 5)? If they do, not many off the shelf options that I can think of in the low dollar range.

Each items is usually seperate. I guess there could be some rules occasionally though...

Really the emphasis is on having really flashy descriptions of each extra option. The customer needs educating that they really need more of the options to enjoy it, but it's not required to buy the product. Basically give them the info inline...

Suggestions appreciated (must run on a linux apache box. No ASP please)
