I don't totally agree with the conclusions.

It also has to do with what women tend to buy - things like clothes, makeup, groceries, and similar you pretty much need "to be there" to know what you are getting.

And while I might jump on the internet to order a software package, if I want a new shirt, I go to Sears or whatever.
