Hello,

I am about launch my first shopping site, Previously, I have done SEO for client's site which were static and had a strong content. For this ecommerce site (which is mine) I am bit apprehensive how to go about it as it will have little content and mostly will be have a products listing.

If anyone of you guys can give the briefing about the same and/or any links from the previous post, will be highly appreciated.

Sorry for the bad English :)

A bit of time reading the library threads here would give you lots of information:

There are many do's and don'ts - but a lot of them depend on what you are selling, and who you are selling to.

You would probably get more response if you were more specific.

:)

A lot of ecommerce sites in my niche have very little text content and yet rank well. It depends on your sector I suppose - look at other top ranking sites which are doing what you want to do and see if they have plumped their site up with text content.
