I have close to 3000 daily unique visitors. On all of my article pages I display one product that is closely related to my industry. I started yesterday, however, no sale yet.
I have two nice looking banners on each page that lead to the sales page, which gives information on the product and has the "Buy" button.
What I am thinking now is that, perhaps I don't have a good message on my banner that leads to the sales page. I have the pic and just a message describing the product.
So my questions are the following.
1. What message is important on the banner?
2. What info is crucial in the sales page?
3. Is it true that the new visitors don't buy and mostly the repete visitors buy?
Thank you very much for your opinions.
Say if you are talking about snoopy, in between your paragraphs you can have a short and precise line saying "buy snoopy for $3.99".
2. What info is crucial in the sales page?
A big and clear picture of the item, description of the item and a big and clear buy now button.
3. Is it true that the new visitors don't buy and mostly the repete visitors buy?
Not entirely true. Though repeat visits do convert better. For my site anyway.
