SEO Options in ECommerce shopping cart software

Just got the software a few days ago...what is this?

Forms for each product:

Site META description
Site META keywords

and a choice of either Page title format:

Shop name -- Category name -- Product name

or

Product name -- Category name -- Shop name

any suggestions for a newbie on how to handle these controls (if at all)?

Sounds like the cart I use, I would recommend product name- category - and consider not using the shop name as it would be in every page title, (not clearly related to page content) and if it is multple words it could make the title too long. See if you can limit the shop name to the home page and maybe the top level catagories.
