Ok i have paypal set up on my website to handle payments but it seems when our visitors are getting to this page and see we only take paypal they are running a mile.

Any solutions here guys?

Get a merchant account, it's the only way to be taken seriously

Authorize.net is also good. Once your shopping cart is integrated you should be good to go. If you require a custom integration for re-billing, e-check, etc, find a good consultant specializing in your gateway.

If you get a merchant account, make sure you post your returns and refund policy on your website. This protects you against having a credit card chargeback and NOT getting your goods back. Include any restocking fee too.

It depends on what country you are in. Authorizenet.com is an electronic payment gateway - you will still need a merchant account. LinkPoint does not charge for recurring billing, while Authorizenet.com and Verisign's Payflow will.

Did you tell them they would be transferred to PayPal to complete their payment? Did you tell them they can make a credit card payment without having a PayPal account?

When you need to transfer your customers to a page with an unexpected change in appearance from your site, it's best to let them know in advance where they are going. In addition, you can place your logo and modify the background color on the PayPal pages to help reassure the customer that they are still sending their payment to your store.
