BBC article about a report from computer scientists working for Microsoft (not official statement from MS, it should be stressed).
Interestingly, there seems to an attitude amongst these companies to put down these file sharing organisations, rather than getting with the programme and competing.
Surely they must see that consumers see the value in these services and most would be prepared to pay for them at a reasonable rate.
Ive seen some music companies getting the stuff together and offering downloads, but IMHO theyve left it a bit late! :)
