How to market an ecommerce site?

I know this probably sound dumb, but what are some of the ways to market your ecommerce site or sell your product on the internet?

I will start the list, please feel free to add on to it.

1. Buy Google Adword
2. Yahoo Online marketing
3. Ebay
4. Froogle
5. Comparison shopping site.
6. Organic SEO
7. Yahoo Shopping
8. Word of mouth
9. Those conventions

You've got most of the tactics down correctly, but you do need to take a look at an overall strategy which brings all of these together.

Things like what are the keywords people would use to find you. Once they find you how do you market the right products to them (landing pages).

I'd strongly recommend reading the library in this forum to get started.
