Shopping cart for drop shipping with file upload

Hi,

I am looking for ideas for a shopping cart which allows the customer to purchase a product, then upload a file for that product (eg. buys a mug, then uploads an image to be printed on the mug before delivery).

The cart has to be able to email a different vendor for each product.

The cart needs an admin interface for the different vendors to login, check their orders, get the files uploaded by the customers, update the order status, and indicate the UPS tracking ID they are shipping the product with.

Any ideas?

(ideally open source, but not necessarily, if not too expensive)

That sounds pretty complex for an 'Off the shelf' cart.

You could try somewhere like scriptlance to get a custom made one that won't cost the earth.

I've developed a few solutions like that, which integrates with the e-commerce site's back-end to create XML/CVS files for the fulfillment service. The admin uses the tools to create the files, then sends it off to the fulfillment service, which then creates the shipments etc.

I am not aware of anything off the shelf that would do this though.. it was a complete custom job in my case.

I bet there are carts that are kind of 'set up' for the custom integration, but I doubt you will find anything off the shelf that will do what you want completely
