I used them a couple of years ago. Never had any problems. We were low volume and looking for a merchant account that wouldn't require upfront costs or monthly fees.

They paid us on time and according to the contract.

They are offering a 3 day settlement based on what youve said they never missed?

I had very bad experience with them. They cost me a lot of money. They never setup the account right. The account should of accepted discover. Every discover card we had go through would not be deposited in our bank account. After a month a of fighting with them I gave up. I did search and found out that I was not the only person that had that problem.

I had a setup problem with payquake too. They were supposed to set up my account for American Express and never did. I lost a couple of nice sales as a result.

I ended up taking care of the problem myself by dealing directly with American Express. Payquake tried to act as if they had some part in solving the problem, but they didn't. The system works well for me now. I only use payquake for a virtual terminal, when I have customers that won't use paypal and want to give me a credit card over the phone.

I've posted detailed experience about PayQuake in the past on another WW thread. Can't find it now, but it was not a positive review. It goes specifically into merchant agreement contract wording that is skewed toward PayQuake's favor. This was several years ago, so I don't know what their business practice is like today. In general, I will warn you that there are a lot of shady merchant account providers. Unless you can get a personal referral from a trusted friend, its all very risky.
