Europeans, are you ready for the holiday shopping season?

Gartner's [gartnerg2.com] have corrected their earlier predictions for this years online shopping season, now expecting a 48% growth over last year.
Main area of growth is going to be Europe.

For the first time, Europeans will spend more money online this holiday season than North Americans ($15.8 billion vs. $15.7 billion)

So, are you ready?
Do you prepare specially for the holiday season, like spending more on PPC/PFI? Special offers? Anything else?
