Miva Merchant Visitor Counting Question

Site Visitor Counting

I have a small site to sell engineering books with a few HTML pages and a Miva shopping cart.

WebLog 2.53 shows about 120 unique visitors each day, and Miva shows about 60 visitors/month with 6 Visa/MC purchases.

Does the Miva count show only visitors who put books into their shopping carts? In other words, Miva does not see and does not count visitors to just the HTML pages?

Are the 60/month visitors Miva shows 54 people who put product into their shopping cart, but failed to complete the purchase cycle and 6 more who made purchases?
