Hi Guys,

Am experiencing some bother with a site that uses the Protx VSP Form implementation method for ecommerce. Some customers are goign through the checkout process and then after entering their details on the Protx form and clicking proceed to confirm, at the point they are meant to be taken back to our confirmation page some are experiencing what they have described as a "java scripting error", although to be honest it could be any sort of error as these arent exactly the most technologically advanced user base. I have done multiple test orders myself (in Firefox, IE6 and IE7) and have not had any problems whatsoever. Because of the error occuring customers are clicking the back button to get back to the site and redoing their order (which is causing major headaches for our client and subsequentally us)

Has anyone experienced such a thing with Protx before? Could it be CF related (site runs on CFMX)? I'm inclined to put it down to user stupidity but its happened on a few occasions now so im unable to put it down to "freak occurance" and have to investigate it.

Any thoughts or ideas much appreciated.

Cheers

James

Have you tried switching off Javascript in your tests?
