Adding buy now buttons to a static site

How do I add buy now butons from a dynamic site run by Zen cart to a static cart HTML cart?

I know there are other options i.e other software I can use but this have been a specific request.

I also use Zen Cart, I was doing some reading a while back, because I was think about doing something similar. What I found in there forum, was that because of the way things work this will be very difficult to do. I will see if I could find the post and provide the URL if I do.

I know it can be done from OSC and ZEn is just a copy.
