Hi,

This is a question for all ecommerce companies in the Uk who ship abroad.
What is the cheapest carrier to send stuff abroad weighing 5 - 10 kilos?
Royal mail and Parcelforce are too dear.

Can you help?

Beck.

Check it with Interlink experess, Newton international couriers, Premier express and Quicksilver, I think they are cheaper than both Royal mail and parcelforce.

Yes, indeed Essex Boy.

The carriers charge an arm and leg for shipping abroad, a lot of our competitors are charging a flat rate of £10.00 worldwide!
They must be losing money as they are using airsure!
Who do you use Essex Boy please?

we charge a flat rate and we loose money on shipping, i don't believe customers like to pay high shipping charges - you have to get the money by charging more for the product.

parcelforce will discount quite heavily if your volumes are high enough.

unfortunately if you don't have high volumes it's hard to strike a deal lower than the list price at any transporter, but it is possible.

Yes i know, but the industry we are in is very competitive and you would have to put £50 on a product that only retails at £20.00 because of the weight, its a dfficult situation really.
Anyone tried Amtrak?
