Paypal vs CC

What % Use Paypal Only

Is there any accurate info on what % of people will only purchase items on the net using Paypal. i.e. they arrive at the Shopping cart and if Paypal is not available they won't proceed with item purchase.

I'm wondering whther I'm losing SIGNIFICANT sales by only offering payment via Credit Card. Virtually all my cistomers are American.

Many times, atleast for my customers they do not realize what paypal is - they think of it as the credit card processes because that is what it is. I wont buy something because its done through paypal or not, if i want it - i pay whatever means possible. Infact i like not to keep money in my paypal account and use debit cards.

Paypal is what i use for my shopping cart because of the low rates, the non-need to fill out 10 pages of bank paperwork from wellsfargo or bofA. :)
