Has anyone received a false listing on this site?

The problem with this website is that people who have had a bad experience with your company can totally make up things. They don't care to double check if the story is true and the person who is writing the message is writing it in their own perception.

It is really easy to find bad comments about any company on the internet as people find it easier to complain on open discussion forums than to praise a company for doing a good job. There is not one company in the world that has a 100% satisfaction figure.

Last night I did a search for Ed Magedson who runs this web site - there is a ground swell of stuff about this guy and what they say he has done to break the law in years past - I also hear that a business must pay him to respond to a complaint - scary stuff - I don't know if any of this is true but scary anyway...

I had heard of sites doing this, wonder how long he'd carry on if some one sued him?

The problem with this - I can find 10 people who have had a problem with a site and 10 more than have not a problem.

The thing is, the 10 people who have had a problem with a site - well they are going to complain. And the 10 that have not had a problem, basically things are running smoothly, so nothing needs to be done about it.

You will always find more people that like to complain rather than give someone a compliment. It is human nature. We tend to forget the past 45 days of no problems but remember that 46th day that took time out of our day to handle some issues.
