I was wondering about the url strings that are default in miva and the default meta content. If there is someone with experience please sticky me for a long question!

There are some plug ins (modules) that can give you some better URLs to work with for Merchant.

I have always preferred to duplicate the Miva Merchant pages with static ones and block all of the spiders from the Merchant directory.
Saves a lot of extra server work, static pages always out rank dynamic pages and there are also tools available to build the static pages in a matter of seconds.

Great Conard - exactly what I was looking for - not to sound lazy, but could you recommend one of those "tools."?

Whenever I see your posts I want to say coNRad instead of conARd one of those double take things!

Thanks for the help

If I were going to pick one it would be "Merchant Optimizer" from Phosphor Media.

They started with a program named Store Man that allows you to do all of the product and category additions and deletions from your desktop which is 10 times faster than any on-line interface.

They have saved me months of hand work over the years.
