My extensive research is showing that there is a bank in Switzerland offering very good rates for Merchant Accounts, especially for markets/products that the usual suspects(worldpay etc) will not touch.

However I can not find who the bank is, lots of resellers offering to sign me up, but I want to do my due dilligence before launching into a venture with a payment provider (have been burnt in the past by resellers)

All I know is:

1, Swiss Bank
2, has products such as: "Quick-Pay" - "Compact" - Plus
3, Rates between 2.5 and 3.5%
4, Payment Insurance/Guarantee @ 0.5 - 0.8%

Could possibly be EasyToPay, and if so, are these the people involved or are they just resellers aswell.

Any help in tracking down the bank would be really appreciated, and I promise to share my knowledge if proceeding with the bank.

OK, I tracked them down, had a long chat with one of the directors about settlements, proceesing and holdback reserve.

Looks good in principle, but still have some more investgations to do, shall keep you informed as to my progress.

(btw, One of their resellers wanted 2,000 yesterday to reveal who they were when I said I wanted to deal direct)

Hi Shakil,

Nice work about this, I would be very interested to find out about this too if you want some help let me know via sticky. It seems that there are many payment processing services around although in the UK choice is limited and tends to be expensive ,typically 4-5% per transaction and usually a set up fee of between 100 - 200 Pounds. We use Mals and our own merchant account with a major high street branch that shall remain nameless. Even with this option we pay 3.45% on credit cards and 29p per debit cards plus a monthly fee of 25 and a setup fee of 250 ouch! So I'm sure there are many UK lurkers reading this and waiting for your response with baited breath. Let us know your findings.

sorry to report so late, but unlikely I shall be proceeding with my application with this company.

something is just not right, and from experience I trust my inner feelings rather than potential state of my bank balance :)

Although they are located in Switzerland, EasyToPay doesn't appear to be a bank. Can't figure out what they really are, though.

*bump* is the sound it makes when a thread is, well, bumped to the top of the active list by an otherwise meaningless post.
