Hi,
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem using Paypal as a payment system. There seems to be a limit to how much a single credit card can post to a paypal account over time. The limit seems to be around $1000 USD and after that, no further payments are accepted. The firm paying me is using their corporate CC, but like many businesses do not have a paypal account and their card is considered "unverified" and a limit is imposed. Does anyone know a way around this. I don't want to have to ask my clients to open a Paypal account and go through the verification process, seems very unprofessional. Even the name "Paypal" sounds silly IMO. Any comments?

hi dude, you can verify your account by entering your debit or visa info, then send them a message, it should be verified in 2 business days, then there will be no limit.

Try using 2Checkout. They require $49 registration fee, but we haven't ever had problems with intl. transactions.

If you are in the US, you could look at upgrading to the PayPal Website Payments Pro solution. Payments processed through the Direct Payment API should not be subject to the same verification requirements and limits.
