Starting in ecommerce...

I currently make a very nice profit off some content sites (AdSense) and affiliate sites. I want to diversify and get into ecommerce or monthly recurring bill type site (no porn, pharm or casinos though). How does one go about picking a product or products to sell and actually finding a supplier? What about going the monthly recurring billing type structure...? I've been trying to think of an idea like that, but really can't think of anything.

I'm not asking for anyone to think for me, but what is the general process to dive in? I would start off via PPC with a very large budget.

Basically, I want to start some type of site that doesn't rely on AdSense or affiliate sells, rather have my own affiliate and possibly join CJ or LS.

Any advice or first steps would be excellent.

Thanks!

Global Sources is a great place to find products. Another is Wholesale411.

Or try selling digital goods and use PayPal micropayments pricing.
