We are looking for LTL shipping software that can attach to an ODBC database, import customer and shipping information, rate shop, print bill of lading and export back to the ODBC software.
A list of the available software would be great so we can start making some comparisons.

You're looking for EDI software. It's been a while since I worked with EDI, and that was on a mid-range machine, not a desktop environment. But a quick search just now reveals that EDI has moved into the desktop arena as well.
