Our payment processor (Global Payments) has informed us
that VISA now allow banks to have 20 year expiry dates on VISA's.

That means you now need a drop down menu up til 2025
on your credit card checkout page

I haven't seen an expiry date past 2008 yet, and my VISA gets kind of ratty after 4 years. I hate to see
a 20 year old VISA card.

On another twist, Mastercard is taken over Diners Club, and issuing 14 digit Mastercard cards. If you check for 16 digits for a pre-validity check, this will mess things up for those Diner's-Mastercard Hybrids.

I once had a 16 year old cashpoint card - and god did teh design look dated! I had to return it as it was splitting down teh middle.

20 Years is a long time and I cant see why they would do it.
