All we did was change the trial subscription from 7 days to 3 days.
Anyone else got some retention-boosting tips they feel like sharing? The above experiment does beg the question: why not switch to 2 day trial membership? Any thoughts, guys?
NB: I define "retention rate" as the amount of people who sign up and get rebilled in a certain period. That's it, right?
Another possible way to maintain it - is to use ACH. For some reason, membership sites that support ACH & those customers who use it tend to stay longer also. The downfall to this is that the check could be bad & you will not know for a couple of days. Most people want immediate access, so you have to draw the line somewhere
