I have started a site diectory, My question Is how do you think I can turn It into some money.
I would love to make some type of money.
I know I could charge for Submission services.
But that I dont think will really be an option yet because
intill my site becomes big nobody would buy.
So I think yall can see where Im at on this.
Im trying to get the <snip> project off the ground.

To gain revenue you need a poplular site.

I operate some portals that generate revenue but is took a couple of years to propogate.

Let's say you sold banners, advertisers won't pay for a banner in a site that they can't find themselves.

I'm fortunate enough to get enquiries because whilst prospective advertiser were conduvting 'vanity searches' to see where there site ranks, they found a portal with some of there competitors' banners, thus enquired about costs for advertsising.

I couldn't have got this far if I relied upon income from it from day one.

So, build a quality directory and promote it. Build and promote.
