Ok, i have an account with orchard bank which is through Household Credit Services. When i first signed up, i refused the identity theft protection and they have billing me for it. Got card in Aug. 2004. I realized billing me 9.95 a month in november. So i cancled it and then requested a refund. They said they would have to investigate it. Then december statement came in and they billed me again for it. I called and was like #*$!, why did u bill me for it again? they apologized and said wouldnt happen again. To this day i still get billed 9.95 a month and have called them atleast 8 times a month. I call both the orchard bank and identity theft protection. I have put in more than 10 requests to cancel and more than 12 requests to be credited back money atleast from when i cancled in november. I am constatly arguing with them about this and they are doing nothing about this and just treating me like a nobody. Well I know i can do something about this but i dont know how or who to contact. I always talk to supervisors on the phone on both ends and none seem to fix it. What can i do legally? help please. I am 21 years old and need help with these idiots

I have had great results using the Better Business Bureau. You can find it online and file a complaint there, and then they let your local BBB know about the complaint. They send a letter to the other party and give them usually 4-6 weeks to respond. When I have had problems, the BBB's first letter worked almost every time. That is what I would do if I were you. Be very calm and clear when you write out your complaint.
