I am just wondering about the payment confirmation email that you get from paypal when someone pays some money into your paypal account. Does this email have the email address of the person that paid you in it?

Depending on how your preferences are set up, you'll get an email that looks like this...

Dear Company,

This email confirms that you have received a $000.00 USD from (user@example.com).

View the details of this transaction here:

Payment Details

Total Amount: $000.00 USD
Currency: U.S. Dollars
Transaction ID:
Item/Product Name:
Buyer:
Message:

Yes, the first thing you'll see is the email of the person who sent money.

Yes. You can have multiple e-mails under one account. Paypal will show whichever e-mail the buyer logged into Paypal with.

A common problem with accepting payment for eBay transactions and web store shopping carts is that the e-mail address on eBay/web store is not the same e-mail buyer uses for Paypal. So, you can run into issues associating the Paypal payment to the correct transaction.
