the problem is that i read at paypal help the following:
PayPal (Europe) Ltd. has applied to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the UK for authorization to operate as an ELMI. An ELMI is a regulated financial entity authorized to conduct the business of issuing electronic money.
Under ELMI regulations, we can no longer allow members in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom to add funds from a U.S. bank account. This also means that members of the above listed countries cannot use U.S. bank accounts to make Instant Transfer or eCheck funded payments.
i am from greece that means that the echeck which sent from a paypal member from usa will never be cleared so the funds of the echeck will never add to my paypal account?(as writes paypal help or means that i can not send echeck )
must i be suspicious with this payment and the person who sent me the echeck does not want to send me the money because the above reason and also why to send me an echeck and not send me an instant payment or an instant transfer from his account from us bank?
Also, I've had echeck payments take up to 10 business days to go through, so don't give up on this order, yet. I'd give it another week, and then contact PayPal if it hasn't cleared by then.
