Does anyone know if it's feasible to use the Yahoo Store shopping cart and only accept payments via Paypal?

Yes, it should be OK.

You can add PayPal in as a pay method in the "add other" field, but I think you would be making a mistake going it alone. You will convert more lookers-to-buyers if you additionally offer VISA/Mastercard (and ideally Discover/Amex) using the integrated merchant system the Yahoo Store offers.

While there is a huge eBay audience for PayPal, many others hate it, and don't want to be bothered with the added hassles.

There is also a credibility factor. Depending on what you are selling, there are prospective customers that would like to know that the vendor is reputable enough to have their own merchant account, and accept any conventional card freely.

Thanks Steve! I Had originally signed up with Paymentech and everything seemed great until I placed an order and it took 8 days for the money to get credited to my account. This was totally unacceptable. Do you know of another FDMS compatible merchant account provider that doesn't have such a long delay in payment?

I won't bother spamming you, but just Google Yahoo Merchant Accounts - you will find some
