Hi,
I have had some success partnering with other complimentary businesss by selling their product on my site. I get a cut of each sale. They carry all inventory. I sell from my site.

Currently all my partners are local. They prepare each order and deliver to me. I am responsible for shipping out goods ( Many times their goods are combined with purchases from my web site). I keep shipping charges from the customers.

I am looking to partner with a company out of town and am concerned about shipping to my customers. I can have my partner ship directly which would split shipments and, many times cause double charges. I could have my partner ship goods to me and then out to customer; this would delay shipments.

Has anyone had similar experience. How was it handled.
