Email Software

Hi. Need help and advise.
I'm looking for an email program which I can use to email customers about thier order status in batch to save time.
Has to work off templates, Dear, %Cutomer Name% then the mesage. Also has to extract the customers emails from text files. (not just a database)
Any help would greatly appriciated.

Take a look at LivePerson. It works for English speaking audiences.

I don't know if this is helpful, but Endicia emails the customer their shipping/tracking information when you ship an item. It can work with templates, however uses it's own database. Also I think it is only for USPS.
