I'm helping to set up a website for my place of work, and we have decided to use Mals ecommorce as a payment provider. They already have a merchant account, so It makes sense.
However, they are going to dtruggle cretaing a new page for each item and adding the HTML code required, so I am hoping someone can help me. Ideally I need a database driven product, with an admin interface that lets us log in, and add a product, under a certain category, and it creates the page on the fly.
I would either like something that does this (in order of preference)
1. a full cart based system, that collects the address, adn works out the total, and ONLY takes people to mals site when it is time to pay. (it should then skip all the billing pages etc. at mals, and only display the last page.)
2. Some kind of online catalogue, that could have an add to cart button, and adds the product to MALS site, adn they go through the process of inputting data on mals site.
HAs anyone any ideas?
thanks,
Craig
To summarize their selling points (not mine):
- Add your products and load your images easily
- No need to learn HTML or use FTP software if optional installation is purchased. We take care of the technical details for you!
- Works with the free Mals-E shopping cart
- Use any HTML web site template - including our free web templates - for a catalog that's fully customized to be a part of your web site
- Customers can search for products by category, keyword, catalog number and/or price range
- The Deluxe version not only gives you inventory control by item, but also the option to set inventory quantities for the first option (size, color, style, etc.)
- Fully customizable - the catalog can be modified to fit your specific needs
- Perfect for resellers who want an ecommerce system they can brand.
Check it out and good luck!
Best,
- James
