Company Logo Creation

Does anyone know of any software already in existence that creats logo's for companies...What we would like to do is create basic Logos's for stationary and letterheads etc.

Can anyone suggest any packages?

I used bannerforge.com to make logos, complex graphics and web banners. It was very good and free. Web based. But I can't find it online anymore. Anyone know what happened to it?

Banner Forge was shut down, not too long ago.
