Ours definitely started last Sunday. It's been very busy since, which hopefully means we won't get as swamped with last minute orders as we did last December.

I have heard that alot of product is stuck off shore waiting to be unloaded due to new security measures.
Just in time inventory is going to bite some retailers.

This could mean shortages in brick'n mortars.
If you have what people are looking for, check the shelves in the local big block stores, and adjust your prices accordingly. : )

<g> Too true. That's when my partner does all his gift shopping.

However, before last year we'd never had the vast *majority* of our customers wait until well into December to place their orders. We make our products to order so there's only so many we can fit in that close to the holiday. I can do without experiencing that ever again.
