Recurring / Subscription billing with order fullfillment

Questions regarding recurring billing and digital goods order fullfillment

I am launching a new eCommerce site and our primary product is a subscription to a monthly publication that can be delivered in either hard copy form or digital form.

My goal is to get the site up and running with minimal development requirements and I am struggling to find the correct eCommerce hosting company that can provide both recurring billing and digital goods order fullfillment. Does anyone have any thoughts / recommendations on vendors to work with? Unfortunately, I don't have deep technical expertise and can't bolt together a bunch of independent apps on my own.

regards,
tod

Hello Belaircap, Welcome to Webmaster World!

Recurrent billing is usually handled by the gateway (authorize.net and payflow pro from Verisign offer this feature for a monthly fee).

PayPal also has a similar feature. In these three features, you need to set the frequency and amount to bill only once.

Try a fulfillment company called Motivational Packaging and Fulifillment services. Great company, big though. but pros. Largest Fed Ex shipper in North america
I use them and trustcommerce for two of my clients

Hi Tod.

I would like to recommend my Company's product, UltraCart [ultracart.com]. We support auto-order, as well as secure digital delivery. An additional feature that is very popular with content publishers is our ability to automatically customize a PDF before delivery with the Purchaser's Name, E-Mail, and Order Number. This helps reduce unauthorized distribution as this information is included on each page of the document.

Hope this helps!
