Promoting Through Search Engines

Which is one of the better submission software programs available?

Are there any Software programs out there that are actually good for submitting to many of the search engines/directories?

We have used the program AddWeb but I wander if there is anything better out there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and Thank You in advance.

Hi and welcome to WWM.
Most folks here would not recommend using a submission program, and it will not work for the major SEs. Spend some time reading here, also check out the library and site search.

Search engine submission is dead.

Google will spider you, if you have in bound links. Altavista, Inktomi, and Wisenut all appear from my tests to be using the domain registration database.

And Alltheweb will also follow links. So, get some inbound links (submitting the a variety of descriptions to different directories will also help you more in the long run) and then all you have to do is wait for the spider to show up.

I am agrre with jeremy_goodrich, but if you are targetting local engines I can suggest you this one:

[topdog.com...]

It is useful because you can still do everything manually and you have an updated list of several local engines in several targeted languages.
Sometimes it is not so easy to find the addurl page in local engine.

Topdog is a great tool.
