I'm starting a new ecommerce site and wondering which method is the most time saving, and cost efficient way to generate traffic to site. Linking campaign with good old backlinks vs buying links, vs buying ads vs adwords? Thank you!

ive found free shopping directorys can be a source of good free traffic.

Never had much luck with PPC programs.
