Page load time as a factor of conversion rates

Have you seen increased conversions after speeding up page load time?

I have found that even though my pages were loading up fairly quickly, when I halved the load time I saw about a 20% increase in conversions.

I got this speed up by switching providers.

Does anyone else have similar experiences?

I got a slight increase in conversion rate after running my cart off static html pages instead of dynamic php pages that were slower. But this increase is so slight I do not know whether it is real or not.

Im setting up a site and one thing I have noticed since slimming down my pages is that my page views have increased by 150%.

That alone should bode well for sales when I set the payments tthingy up. So yes I could beleive that you get a greater conversation rate.

Absolutely, an increase in conversions. Also, look at removing any extra steps, every time you make it less clicks to purchase, conversions seem to increase.
