Does anyone know where I might find data on conversion rates for ecommerce sites? I'm interested in what the norms are for various types of sites.

It really depends upon the market sector you're interested in as to what the 'normal' conversion rates might be. Even then, you'll get numbers all over the place simply because each store has a completely different setup. Perhaps the question you should be asking is what's an acceptable conversion rate for the? market sector?

Thanks lorax, perhaps that is a better way to phrase the question. Is there some place on the web that one could find data on ecommerce conversion rates for various market sectors?
