Need a payment gateway for Authorize.Net & Paypal

I need some suggestions for payment gateways that are compatible with both Authorize.net & Paypal.

I'm not sure what you mean, but Authorize *is* a gateway... Are you asking for merchant account providers that are compatible with Authorize?

Or maybe shopping carts that are compatible with both? There are many choices...

If you're asking for a code snippet that will talk to both of the gateways you mention then you'll need to do some digging. There are plenty of them out there. Authorize.net (I'm not sure about PayPal but I suspect they do as well) offers instructions on how to communicate with their service.

What I am basically looking for is an API for both providers. I am going to contact Authorize.net for theirs, but does Paypal have one also?

you can see Authorize's API right on their site. Same with paypal. No contacting needed. Just look around.
