I am in the US and have a customer in the UK who doesn't have a credit card. She asked if she could write a check in Great Britain Pounds. I'm assuming I wouldn't be able to deposit that at my bank?

Does anyone know if it's possible to have her bank draw up a money order in US Dollars? Thanks for any info!

Yes, her bank can do that. You want her check to be made out in USD (US Dollars) otherwise you will have to pay your bank for the conversion to USD, plus lose the difference. One conversion chart I use shows 100 GPB = 179.811 USD as of 2004.10.18 21:00:16 GMT
