I just got a SSL from thawte and sent to my host to install.

On IE, the https loads just fine. But on Firefox, I get an alert saying:

Unable to verify the identity of www.widget.com as a trusted site.

Possible reasons for this error:

- Your browser does not recognize the certificate authority that issued the site's certificate
- The site's certificate is incomplete due to a server misconfiguration.
- You are connected to a site pretending to be www.widget.com, possibly to obtain your confidential information.

Please notify...br br br br.

I clicked on the "Examine Certificate" button, it shows my cert, with the following comment:

Could not verify this certificate because the issuer is unknown.

This is the exact error an ecommerce site need to lose all your customers. Does anyone have any experience in why I am getting this error? The cert is issued by Thawte SSL Domain CA

The problem came from the intermediate certificate not installed properly.

You just need to install it, along with your site cert.
