PayPal & false web traffic reports?

PayPal says you get the hits but....

Greetings PPL

In the last 3 months I have taken grand steps and watching my site traffic.

I found that PayPal crawls my website impressively deep into my directories, listing all my right pages - which is nice. Then in my PayPal store stats, PayPal claims I had all these visitors. *Laughin. Can they really think I am that dumb? or maybe they do...

Not sure if this is old news or something I just happened to notice. Anyway I thought I would share with all... enjoy!

What does the PayPal spider look like? And how well behaved is it?

I never cared about their reports saying how many hits it got - i like seeing how many sales I got. ;)

If you look below and count the spiders hits, then you look at the e-mail monthly report, you will notice the same numbers match up. When infact these hits were not people hits, or searches.. but spider hits. *laughin.

I agree with you :)

I just happen to notice the false reports is all, and thought I should share it with all.

I also think if PayPal is going to promote something at least it should be honest no? ;)
