Are south african orders as likely to be fraud as regular africa order

I am wondering if orders from South Africa are as likely to be fraudelant as regular Nigerian orders? Or are they generally more legitimate?

My experience has been that South African orders have been legitimate, but we work in a specialist field.

I stay in subsaharian Africa.

Every person staying in Africa knows that South Africa is just like any modern and developped country. They have everything down there (even satellite channels with broadband connection). So, IMO you can trust orders coming from SA just like orders coming from developped countries of western Europe, Asia, America, etc...

I find that most orders in South Africa tend to be legitimate although, like any other country, there will always be bad apples.

South Africa does have a high crime rate. Certainly for car-jacking and gun crime the country can be a dangerous place.

Internet fraud on the other hand - I have never known of any fraud from SA, but because of the high crime levels, I would be more cautious than a regular order - though not to the level of Nigeria/Indonesia - there are far more people in SA that can actually afford to pay for items they are ordering!

Hmmm.....wouldn't have assumed this. Cool. I'm going to expand my AdWords targeting to include South Africa. Truth be told, though, it does scare me a little. I mean it's kind of odd to have such diametrically opposite business experiences within the same continent. I get constantly hit with large fake-credit card order attempts from Nigeria. But I'm willing to give S.Africa a cautious try, I guess.
